The Magene L508 is a radar tail light that does more than illuminate — it actively monitors traffic behind you and alerts you before danger closes in. Whether you're out on a solo training ride, a group sportive, or commuting after dark, the L508 gives you the awareness and confidence to focus on the road ahead.

Radar That Sees Around Corners Using millimeter-wave pulse signals and a 40° horizontal beam angle, the L508 detects vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 metres away — even on bends and curved roads. The vertical detection range spans -10° to +10°, and the radar tracks targets moving between 10 and 120 km/h.

220° Visibility, Up to 1.2 km With a 220° wide viewing angle and a visibility range of up to 1.2 km, the L508 ensures you are seen and that approaching vehicles are detected well in advance.

7 Light Modes for Every Situation The L508 supports 7 different light modes: solid, flashing, pulse, peloton, quick flash, rotation, and single radar mode. Switch between modes with a single click to match your riding environment. The dedicated Peloton Mode uses reduced brightness and soft light to avoid dazzling fellow riders during group rides. Via the Magene Utility app, you can fully customize brightness levels, flash intervals, and disable unused modes.

Smart Brake Light A built-in high-precision accelerometer instantly detects even slight braking and activates a 3-second high-brightness mode, while filtering out road vibration and small bumps to prevent false triggers.

Approaching Vehicle Warnings When a vehicle approaches from behind, the warning light flashes 5 times. When vehicles approach in succession, the light remains active — alerting both the cyclist and the driver to maintain a safe following distance.

Connects to Your Devices The L508 pairs via Bluetooth and ANT+ with compatible bike computers, GPS watches, and other display devices supporting the standard radar protocol — including select Garmin, Wahoo, and Bryton cycling computers and Garmin fitness watches. Radar display is also available through the Magene Utility app.
